Takeaki OZAWA − Editorial Board Member
Takeaki OZAWA, Professor at Department of Chemistry, School of Science, the University of
Tokyo, received his B.S. degree in 1993 and M.S. degree in 1995 from the University of Tokyo,
Japan. He completed the doctoral course at the University, Graduate School of Science, and
received his Doctor of Science degree in 1998. He served as a Research Associate for five years
and as a Lecturer for two years at the University of Tokyo. Since 2005, he started an independent
position of Associate Professor at the Institute for Molecular Science, Japan. His research
interest is to explore novel optical methods for visualizing and controlling function of biological
molecules in living subjects.
