Hideaki HISAMOTO − Editorial Board Member

Hideaki HISAMOTO, Professor of Analytical Chemistry, Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka Prefecture University, was born in 1969 in Ibaraki Prefecture. He received his Bachelor (1991), Master (1993), and Doctor (1996) of Engineering degrees from Keio University. He served as a Research Associate (1996–1998) at Keio University, Lecturer (1999–2002) at the University of Tokyo, Associate Professor at the University of Hyogo (2003–2006), and then moved to Osaka Prefecture University in 2007. He was promoted to his present position in 2010. He received the Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry Award for Younger Researchers in 2004, and Outstanding Researcher Award on Chemistry and Micro-Nano Systems from the Society for Chemistry and Micro-Nano Systems in 2008. Keywords of his research include: molecular recognition, chemical sensors, microfluidic devices, capillary-array sensors, and capillary electrophoresis.
